Greetings and salutations to all of you around the globe!
I'm super excited to be here and get started making nice voice memes. A little about me: I'm Michael, a 25-year-old copywriter in NZ. I'm not exactly new to voice work, having done a few podcasts over the last few years. But that's a completely different set of skills to V/O and audiobooks, so I'm eager to start fleshing myself out.
I've been interested in getting into this for literal years, and I've only finally managed to get my life together enough to get started. My greatest inspirations are James Earl Jones (of Darth Vader and Mufasa fame) and Mark Hamill (of Joker and other cartoon voices fame)
I'm looking into buying some acoustic foam and buying a better mic, so any advice on a good set up, brand, or particular model is always appreciated.
Many thanks and I'm excited to work with you!
Michael
