Hi! I’ve worked in higher education for a number of years, doing faculty development in the area of using technology in teaching. I have been writing and recording tutorials for the last few years for a company that offers a subscription-based library of e-learning content. I’m semi-retired and looking for a way to use my skills and experience for something I believe in that can help others and I love the idea of recording public domain materials to make them available in audio format. Looking forward to learning more about Librivox and meeting other volunteers through the forum!

Hi Lvan. WE love the idea too and welcome you enthusiastically. To record, the first thing for you to do is to submitt your 1 minute test so we can check your technical specs and be sure they match what we use. Your welcome email should give all the info you need but please ask if anything is unclear. We are a friendly bunch here.
