Hi Everyone,

My name is Marilyn and I am so excited to become a volunteer here! I am a northeast Ohio native.
I have enjoyed listening to audiobooks for many years, and am excited to learn more about the narrating part.
Also, love the idea of bringing these public domain books to the listening ear!

Will work on the 1 minute test over the weekend and go from there.

Look forward to meeting everyone! :D

Hi, Marilyn, and welcome to LibriVox! We're glad you're here.

Once you get your one-minute test out of the way, take a look around at the various projects we have ongoing right now. There are a lot of them and they all need readers.When you find something that interests you, request a section or two. We recommend starting small and working your way up to larger things. It gives you a chance to get familiar with the process and the length of time involved in doing a recording without overloading yourself right off.

If you have any question, let us know. We're always willing to help.
