Hey there,

I am Kate Rhodes. I am 25 years old, mother of two, farm girl. When I was in highschool, I felt an interest in Audiobook Narration but didn't a know thing about it or where to even begin. The small amount of research I did just resulted me hiding back into my shell, too afraid and confused to explore much farther.
Now, nearly ten years later, husband and two kids, I found that my interest turned more into a desire that drove me to do a lot of research on how someone becomes an Audiobook Narrator.
Now I am about a week into my research and have already learned way more than I could have imagined and I am excited to learn more.
I read in a book about Audiobook Narration that this was a good place to start for getting experience towards working on the website ACX.

So, there is where I started this whole new journey.

If you have any tips or advice for me I would greatly appreciate it!

We welcome all volunteers here to help with producing our audiobooks . Just follow the guidelines in your welcome email . get your test up and checked , look for an open project you would enjoy and get recording.
