So I have written hundreds (maybe thousands) of poems, am writing a self help book, participated in poetry open mic readings and hosted some, edited and published several collaborative books and two periodicals as well as my own books, and created websites.

I'm interested in being a reader.

Hi Donald and welcome to the forum. It sounds like you are immersed in books and writing. So I guess this place is going to be a perfect playground for you. 
The best thing to start with is doing a one-minute-test, and posting it here: viewforum.php?f=21
someone will come along and check your technical settings and give you feedback and advice. After passing the test, you are ready to roll and claim any open sections in the projects on offer.
Unfortunately you cannot record your own poems here, as we only host PD texts published before 1923 for the time being. But there are a lot of great PD poems still to be recorded
I'm sure you will find some to your liking.
