Hello, my name is Chad Horner and I am a new Librivox volunteer. I love to read various things such as poetry, novels and history books. I enjoy reading to older people that I care for in my job role as a Healthcare Assistant. I am hopeful that I will get the opportunity to record an audiobook by myself and also in collaboration with others

Hi Chad and a warm welcome to our forum fun. Looks like your interests in reading a manyfold, so you will have no trouble finding a few projects to help out in.

The best way to start is of course with a one-minute-test to check your technical settings. Upload your recorded mp3 and create a new thread in this forum: viewforum.php?f=21 and someone will give you feedback on it. Once you get your OK on the test, you are ready to start !

Have fun here and maybe one day soon I hear you in one of the projects I'm currently prooflistening for.
