Beth, this is Irish Gaelic, from the bits I remember from my university crash course. It means "hello to you all".

So: dia dhuit Steve, I think we should say in return. :)
If ever you want to record a poem in Gaelic, you can post it in the Multilingual project and I'll be happy to prooflisten it. :9:
