I've been enjoying ebooks on my way to work for a while now.
Initially I was annoyed by the MP3 format's larger size, and low quality.
But I am thinking of making ebooks myself; of higher quality (for myself) and sharing it with librivox in MP3 format.

That sounds reasonable, they'd need to be PD in the USA.

You could do that. You'd need to add the LibriVox intros and outros to your "shared with LV" files. And as Annise said, you'd need to be sure the book is PD. (E-texts are preferred, since often hard copies have been edited. You could confirm the text with us before starting to record, so that wouldn't be much of an issue.)
Fiction, open sections mostly adventure in Australia: It Is Never too Late to Mend
Irish Home Rule Arguments: Handbook on Home Rule
