I signed up years ago but "life got in the way". I finally got my recording setup back into place and am ready to give this a try again. I'm looking forward to easing my way into recordings with small works with a bucket list goal of someday recording a whole book. In looking through the posts, I can see just how supportive this online community will be!

Yep, we try to help each other out as much as possible. You are on the right track, do your 1 minute test, get an OK, then try our weekly poem or another short piece to get things going. Be patient with yourself. We aim at having fun and producing understandable audio, not perfection. Ask lots of questions. Here is a video on our forums, it is a bit out of date but may have something you don't know. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnxpcbnEjoQ&feature=youtu.be.

Oh, and here is your welcome back flower Image
