Hey all,
I’m new to the Librivox family and I’m excited to start recording books to audio! Any advice or suggestions is most welcome and encouraged. I can’t wait to get off work and start recording. Wish me luck! Have a great day y’all.
Best,
Manny

Hello Manny and welcome to Librivox. First thing to do if you plan to record, and I presume you've received your Welcome Letter so you already know this, is to submit your 1-minute Test. While waiting for the OK on that, start looking through our Readers Wanted forums (Board Index in the menu above) for stuff to read, and peruse the many areas of the Librivox wiki (main menu above) where volunteers have done their best to share suggestions and give advice over the years. When you get the OK, notify the Book Coordinator (BC) on any project of one or two sections you'd like to read (I recommend you keep em short until you get the hang of things), and wait for their authorization before you record. And like Space X's Falcon Heavy, you'll be off!
