Hey there!

So I'm Nadia and it's great to be here. So I'm a hobbyist voice actor as well as a journalist. I came across this site through a simple google search as I've always wanted to narrate an audio book and help people enjoy a good book! As a person with a physical disability I can certainly understand the struggles of overcoming barriers. I have a good feeling that my time here will be enjoyable!

Welcome aboard, Nadia. Voice acting and journalism . . . . sounds like you've come to the right place. Hopefully you've gotten your Welcome Letter and you know that the first thing to do is send us your 1 Minute Test, and while waiting for an OK on that, poke through our Wiki and Forums (top menu bar) to learn more about how LV works.

What kind of recording equipment will you be using? Most of us use the free Audacity software, and there is a wide variety of microphones in use, from built-in laptop mikes, to fancy desk or boom mikes. Look forward to seeing you around the LV playground!
