Hi, Gary. Welcome to Librivox. Great news that you'd like to record. Presumably you've received your Welcome Letter and are perusing the various forums and wiki's. Before recording on any Librivox project, we need you to submit a 1 minute test as explained here: http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/1-Minute_Test

You will post this to the Listeners Wanted Forum (LV in upper left corner of each page), and someone will come along and listen, then an Admin will OK it when your tech specs are right. That's more or less Step One for anyone wanting to join in the reading side of things. Best wishes, be patient, and don't hesitate to ask questions.
