My name is Ishrat and I am a student studying in grade 12. I want to volunteer as a proof listener and being new to this platform even after having read the
FAQ's I feel I'm a bit lost. I would really appreciate if I could get some help along the process

It's great that you want to be a prooflistener - a great way to start!

Since you have read the FAQs, I would suggest to head over to "Readers Wanted:Books" and look for any project title with a ~ before the name. These books are looking for prooflisteners. Choose one that sounds interesting, post a quick hello and ask if you can help. Usually, the BC (book coordinator) is an experienced person and will help you through your first few recordings.
You can always ask if you're unsure, too!
