I am interested in at least trying a chapter and trying this. I became interested in this while reading the Woody Guthrie story, "Bound For Glory." I read aloud to myself and liked how I 'acted' the different characters. I also 'felt' a good story by Erskine Caldwell and as told by Mark Hammer. I would like to give that energy to such stories. . What can you suggest?

Welcome at LibriVox :)

I don't know the authors you're mentioning, so I can not much help you on that.

The only suggestion I have right now is to start - first with your test and then with maybe some small readings in group projects. We do have a drama section here, too :)
