Hello All,

This is Mayurakshi. I'm a PhD student of theatre and performance, studying in New York. I'm incredibly excited to begin to record as a LibriVox reader. I haven't been able to do any practical work in theatre for over a year due to the substantial academic demands of our PhD program. But! I believe volunteering with LibriVox would be the perfect outlet for my creative urges. Doing something creative with my voice always stimulates me!

And yet another big welcome! Here is your welcome flowerImage

I understand your feelings about performing. Even though I've only done amateur work, I love to be on stage. Unfortunately being an old guy I don't get c ast as much as before but I use LibriVox to get the excitement of performing those books and it really helps. Follow the directions in your welcome email and even perhaps my videos about using our forum. Ask lots of questions and get your 1 minute test done so you can jump right in and record!
