Hi all,

Nice to finally be a member of this community after enough years of using all your audiobooks: I don't know why I waited so long to sign up!
Looking forward to submitting some files soon - I love my classics and luckily they're all in the public domain so hopefully soon we can get cracking :D

Thanks for having me here.

Thank you, I'm already having fun recording the first few chapters of The Invisible Man, though my voice sounds a bit creaky for a 29 year old man so I guess I'll have to work on that
Once I'm up to speed, if it's easier for everyone, shall I make a thread in the proper forum about these recordings and get wheels in motion?

Well, if your intent is to use LibriVox as your "publisher", you'll need to adhere to certain rules (you can find more about them on our wiki pages).

And, yes, a thread in the "New Projects Launch Pad" is where every project starts. Do spend some time reading stickies and related material, it will save you from having to do it later. Don't assume anything, but ask.
