Hello everyone! My name is May and I live in Iraq. I am a native Arabic speaker but also quite fluent in English. Reading has been my most favourite thing since I was 12 years old and it has been a habit of my family to conduct book clubs and read aloud to each other.
I first learned about Librivox through an audio book app on my phone a few years back and i have listened to several books recorded by Librivox since then. I'm particularly interested in Dramatic Reading and would love to participate in such a project. I'm currently listening to Pride and Prejudice and Emma by Jane Austen, both great examples of Dramatic Reading.
Looking forward to reading, listening, and being part of Librivox community! I will be recording a test record soon.

If you don't yet have a good recording program, I recommend Audacity. We use Checker to make sure that our technical features are good to go before we upload the file for proof listening. The second step is to record and then upload your one-minute test. Please check the following links:
