My name is James and I'm from northeastern Oklahoma. I've toyed with the idea of getting into audiobook narration for several months, but only recently got serious about it and picked up a microphone and preamp. My knowledge of voice recording and editing is still pretty limited, but I've been having a lot of fun learning. I've listened to a lot of audio books on YouTube in the past, which is how I first heard about Librivox. So now that I've finally decided to take the leap into audiobook narration, I wanted to volunteer to read for Librivox as a fun way to learn the ropes and gain some experience. I'm excited to get started and looking forward to meeting some of you.
