I stumbled on Librivox a few years ago being a lifelong radio and audio story fan and a particular fan of old time radio. Librivox has exposed me to many classics that I would never get to in print. I love old scfi, history, philosophy and anything to do with sailing or food.
I am a huge fan of open source bottom-up web applications, the internet as it was meant to be. Libirivox is brilliant, empowering both listeners and readers. I especially appreciate the non-evaluative sanity.
