Hi,

My name is Devon and I'm new here!

I study English Literature at University and often turn to LibriVox to help me get through the particularly difficult texts. I'm from the North of England, so I'm going to have to enunciate a lot! Hopefully my accent isn't too close to Geordie...

I'm looking forward to recording soon! I'm still testing my equipment and learning how to use Audacity, but I hope to begin recording something proper within the next week or so.

I'm currently studying works of the Renaissance and Romanticism periods, so I will likely be focusing on texts of those periods once I find my feet. Although, I am remaining open to texts that don't relate to my studies (I will need a break from these topics at some point!).

I'm excited to get started and cannot wait to talk to more readers!

Have a lovely day,
Devon

Welcome.

Please do the one minute test so we can figure out if your equipment is set up properly. For that and other skills, the videos linked at the top of the forum are very helpful. Then we have many projects already underway in the various Readers Wanted forums, and more starting all the time.

Thanks, Todd
