Howdy!
I am Megan, and I am new to the LibriVox community. The idea popped into my head after I had a dream about reading to my niece and nephew that live across the country. Maybe I can read to other kids through LibriVox?
Anyway, I'm excited to meet other people like me, and I can't wait to get recording!
Also, tell me your favorite children's books! I love reading them in my free time to get away from my University Studies
Newbie Alert!
Welcome. We do have fun with children's books, and for a number of them we have made dramatic readings where different readers play different characters. For example: https://librivox.org/the-adventures-of-danny-meadow-mouse-by-thornton-w-burgess/ where I had fun being Peter Rabbit or https://librivox.org/the-adventures-of-jerry-muskrat-by-thornton-w-burgess/ where I got to be Grandfather Frog, chugarump chugarump. Great way to get away from the cares of the work day world!
First step is doing the one minute test so we can see that your equipment is set up properly. Then pick whatever open book chapter, story, or role you want from the various projects we offer in the "Readers Wanted:" forums.
Thanks, Todd

Welcome!
I'm not sure what my favorite children's books are; I haven't thought of that in a while. Ha ha!
Good to have you!
