Hi aural colleagues,
my name is David and I reside in Canberra Australia a beautiful planned city dreamt up by American architects Marion Mahoney and Burley Griffin.
Cycle paths abound so I'm a keen podcast and audio-book listener as I pedal about. Having retired, the concept of volunteering with Librivox combines for me the love of reading and giving back to such a great project for the benefit of humanity. Pliny, a roman scholar and writer, had a slave read scrolls to him as he wandered around making him the first bodcaster I guess and now we have the luxury of such with Librivox. I hope to be able to contribute.
Happy reading and listening
David

Welcome. I like the "bodcaster" concept.

First step is to do the one minute test so we can verify that your equipment matches our not very demanding settings. Then you can start to look for opportunities in our various book, poem, short story, or dramatic works offerings. AS reader or perhaps proof-listening as you wish.

Enjoy, Todd

Welcome!

Most of our cycling is done on streets, so there's no way I'd use earbuds! ;)
