Hey! I'm Evan McWilliams, eager and ready to record a book! I'm very excited because I tend to listen to audiobooks rather than read (unless it's technical or philosophy) since it brings out more in the novel or work of nonfiction. Do I get assigned books or can I grab one that's free? Anyway, I'm here and hyped to get the recordings in!

First thing to do is take and submit the one minute test. That way we can confirm that your equipment is set up properly to give us the kinda file we need.

After that it is entirely up to you what you want to read. We have "Readers Wanted" forums for book projects, poetry and short stories, and dramatic works such as plays. You look for any project that catches your fancy, pick a section that is open, and post a claim in that project's part of the forum. Be sure to read the first posting in each project - all the instructions are there.

Thanks, Todd

Welcome!

Yeah - we recommend you start with group projects, to get your feet wet and familiarize yourself with how things are done around here. Then if you wish, you could do a solo project. :) We're all reader-directed, so you choose what you want to record.

Have fun!
