Just checking in, came across this great website and couldn't resist joining in! After listening to several readings I got the guts to put up something myself, The Black Cat, by EA Poe:

I've lived in Bangkok for nearly 15 years now, originally from Portland, Oregon, USA. I have a podcast (in dormant stage) and my website:

You all seem like a nice lot! I hope to get to know you better.

Hi Tom! You arrive with a gift! Thanks very much. We're currently doing a short story collection where this might go very nicely. Would you post it in Poetry and Short Works? http://librivox.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=19

Welcome to LibriVox. Please feel free to join into any existing projects in Readers Wanted, or read some poetry or another short story for Poetry and Short Works.

Longer solo projects are posted in Going Solo, but we always recommend doing a few book chapters or other recordings first, so that you know what you let yourself in for, as it were! :)

Welcome, Tom! How wonderful of you to arrive with a ready-made recording. It sounds great, too. Make sure Thistlechick (Betsie) knows about your story :)

Now, go sign up to read a chapter of one of our books-in-progress!
