Hi,

I've been visiting LibriVox for a bit and I find it very useful.
So I decided I would like to contribute to it!

Right now I'm not too interested in long works, because I'm a student and I don't have a lot of time. However, I AM interested in shorter works, such as poems.

:)

Good to have you joining us, Hermanubis! Like Anna said, the Short Works and Poetry area sounds like the one for you ... but it can be worth looking at the Books area from time to time, because some of the chapters on offer there are very short (I think the shortest I've done has been about 10 mins, but I heard a few recently which were 3-5 mins each.) The Weekly Poetry Recording is one of the best places to start, because it's guaranteed short, quickly enetered into the catalogue, and is a great way to make sure all your technicals are in order.

The Newcomer Guide to Recording has all the basics, but if you've any questions that aren't covered there, or that you'd like some more detail on ... please do just ask!

Most of all -- Have Fun!
There's honestly no such thing as a stupid question -- but I'm afraid I can't rule out giving a stupid answer : : To Posterity and Beyond!

Welcome Hermanubis. I have a collection of short legends that only take a few minutes to do as well, You can find them here:

Hi, Hermanubis.

Where in Japan are you living? A few of us are in/around Tokyo - we got together to do a section of Ulysses a while back. Maybe we ought to organise another group reading soon.
