It is so exciting to find a site like this. I am a US citizen but have been living in Italy for 20 years. I teach English and I use the MP3 books so that my students may here different accents.
I will eventually voluteer as a reader.
I would like to say hello to Valter especially and maybe we can start organizing Italian readers. Myself excluded due to my accent. HHHAHAHH
Best regards.
Ann

Pleased to meet you, Ann.
You don't live in Rome, do you? It would be too funny.
Anyway, I've got to sit my last important exam on next thursday, then I can relax a little bit setting up a minimal recording studio, since the trial recording session I carried out with my present equipment resulted into an audio-Waterloo.
Keep in touch anyway, and if you don't leave in Rome you will inevitably come to the Ethernal City one day or another, then I'll have the privilege to offer you a coffee. Same to all LibriVoxers visiting my city, of course.
Ciao
Valter

Welcome!
My daughter was in Rome this summer-we have stunning photographs of your adopted city! She would like to study Italian-it was her favorite country visited during the program! I am a teacher and plan on using LibriVox recordings in my teaching too!
