WELKOM roxi! My parents are Dutch though my Dutch is not good. We have several Dutch speakers here and I am sure they will be along to say "Groeten" (I think thats how its spelt)

Anna did a solo in Mastrichs Dialect here:

http://librivox.org/three-short-stories-in-the-maastricht-dialect/

And there is always the "Multilingual Poetry" here:

http://librivox.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4467

Choose any public domain poem in Dutch and just do it. The main site is translated in Dutch but these forums are all English I'm afraid. Anna is a great help and I'm sure if you sent her a private message, she will be glad to translate for you.

Hoop dat je veel plezier hebt, hier bij LibriVox

Welkom Roxi,

Ik hoop dat je veel plezier hier zult hebben.
Wij zullen er alles aan doen om je te helpen.
Als je vragen hebt, laat het dan weten.
Misschien kunnen we samen met de andere Nederlanders eens een Nederlands boek lezen voor LibriVox.
PM als je hulp nodig hebt.

Welcome Roxi.
I hope you have fun here.
We'll help you as much as we can.
Maybe we can read a Dutchbook with the other Dutch LibriVoxers
If you have any questions let us know.

Hello Roxi, good to have you joining us!

I don't think there are any books in Dutch going through at the moment, but you could pick one to start things off! There are quite a number at Project Gutenberg, all of which are safely out of copyright to record for Librivox (local copyright varies, but what counts at the end of the day should be where the files are ultimately hosted, in the US.)

There's honestly no such thing as a stupid question -- but I'm afraid I can't rule out giving a stupid answer : : To Posterity and Beyond!
