Greetings from the States! :D

I'm a newbie and I'm looking forward to participating in this noble effort. Where should I start? Does anyone know of any pages that may be of help to me? Also, I would appreciate help on how to navigate the user control panel.

Thanks in advance!

Hello Sarah, and welcome to LibriVox!

Why don't you start with the links in your welcome e-mail?
Take your time and read the wiki, and watch Phil's videos,
you'll then be well on the way to understanding how things work around here
...and browsing the forum threads will help you to get to know us and feel at home.

Any questions you then have will be answered quickly if you post in the 'Help Wanted' thread.

Have fun

Carol -
:P Thank you very much for your help! I will look through the links in my welcome email. I've already watched a bunch of Phil's emails and they are great!

Thanks again,
Sarah

You're very welcome, Sarah :)

When you feel ready the one minute test is strongly recommended - NOT an audition, just a check on the technical settings to save frustration and wasted hours later!

But while you're browsing the forums, do check out the *Readers Wanted: Short Works (Poetry & Prose)* thread -
a good place to get used to recording and editing Image

I have made enormous progress since I last wrote and have posted my one minute test and figured out LibriVox! You may see me on me on Short Works (Poetry and Prose)...
