I'm so excited to have found this site--not just from a listener's standpoint, but because of the opportunity to get involved in something I love--editing and listening. I don't necessarily envision myself as a reader, but since I've done a lot of editing of written prose throughout my life, I think it sounds like great fun to try my hand in this very different and worthwhile project.

Heavens, yes, we can always use editing and listening help. Take a wander over to the Listeners and Editors Wanted forum, check out the FAQ at the top, then pick something to listen to! Chat with Starlite or Stephan (or many other folks, but not me 'cos I do only minimal types of editing) about the kinds of editing jobs that come up - they'll be happy to induct you into the Ranks O' Editors.
