I am new to LibriVox and I'm looking forward to completing my first reading. This looks like an opportunity to meet quite a few people with some very diverse interests and backgrounds. There's nothing like a community built around books.

In that, you're very right! :D Welcome to LibriVox, jtmartinsen! Hope you enjoy yourself here. But be warned, the majority of volunteers find LibriVox quite addictive. :)
Between being a full-time college student and working 20+ hours per week, I'm not able to be involved at LV these days, but I remain a loyal fan and look forward to a triumphant return sometime in the (probably distant) future.
