Hi! Scott Splavec of West Des Moines, IA here. Just found out about Librivox and decided to get involved. I'm a volunteer reader for the Iowa Radio Reading Information Service (http://www.iowaradioreading.org), so this seemed like a natural thing to get involved in.

Looking forward to getting started.

Scott

Hi, Scott,

Welcome to Librivox! Wow, it seems like everyone's reading aloud these days. We've got the broadcast networks quaking in their boots.

Welcome Scott! I've been thinking about volunteering for Mind's Eye, a service in Missouri that reads the newspaper aloud to be radio broadcast to visually impaired folks in the community. Now that I've been doing this a little while, I think I'm ready to go for it. Anyway, it's good to have you and happy reading!
