Hey everyone!
Im a student at James Madison University in the wonderfully boring town of Harrisonburg, VA (which is probably how I found you guys in the first place!) I can't even tell you how excited I am about finding this website. What you are doing and have already done is truly remarkable and I simply cannot wait to become a part of it.

I've always been somewhat of a an actor, so this should be some great fun.
(Also, Im quite new to this whole "forum" concept... lets see if I can keep up and that my studies dont keep me too busy)

Welcome Claire! There are many great places to start. Like the listeners wanted here:

http://librivox.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=21

And for recording, we sugest something small to start with so you can test your recording setup for technical difficulties before embarking on a larger project here:

Or record your favorite public domain poem for the poetry collection here:

The most important rule is to have fun!

Enjoy your stay here.

Esther :)

Greetings, Greetings

The question isn't will your studies keep you from Librivox but will Librivox keep you from your studies! It is addicting and you are now formally warned :help:

Welcome! Have a blast, and I look forward to hearing your voice!

(Kat's right, by the way - this gets addicting awfully fast...) ;)
