Hello LibriVox enthusiasts,

My name is Scott. I was delighted to recently come across this amazing and meaningful project.

As an English teacher based in Tokyo, I see an invaluable resource for listening material for students who have literary interests.

As a commuter who spends far too many hours using pubic transport, I look forward taking some of you contributers with me to work.

I hope to be able to read a piece or two aloud in due course.

Thanks to all who have worked to make LibriVox available.

Best regards,
scottlo

Welcome Scott! If you don't know what to pick first, you can always check out the weekly picks.

Good to have you hear, Scott!

You might like the Sneak Previews forum too ... that way you can listen *and* be actively involved in helping out, right from the start! (Well, as long as you're commuting by a method which allows for the occasional taking of notes. Pubic transport sounds like it might require a bit more concentration than that ...)

Have fun!
There's honestly no such thing as a stupid question -- but I'm afraid I can't rule out giving a stupid answer : : To Posterity and Beyond!
