Welcome krhettn! A good place to start recording is the short stories or weekly poetry as they are nice and short so you can test your recording setup:

If you haven't made recordings before, you might want to check out the Newbie Guide to Recording, up in the Guides for Listeners and Volunteers (linked at the top of every forum page).

Stephan: Hm... maybe if I record something, I could pick something set on a tropical island and get the breeze in the background

But, I don't know how to do the recording yet, so I was hoping to do other volunteering at least at first until I figure that out.
