Hi everyone,
I stumbled across this website (like most people!) and am thoroughly impressed by this community. I've very much enjoyed the few books that I've listened to already and would like to be able to contribute to this terrific project.

I'd like to start off with something small (please not poetry - I'd just mangle it!), but if there's room on one of the Aesop's projects?

And "Count of Monte Cristo" is one of my *all-time* favourites - if I can help out there, please let me know and I'll get started!

Cheers,
Olwyn

Hey, Hi Olwyn!

Please, yes! Get started! :D
Count needs about 50 chapters to be claimed http://librivox.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1005
and a dozen Aesop's fables need adoption
http://librivox.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=140

Got everything you need?
A great overview of the process is at
http://librivox.org/volunteer-for-librivox/
and a whole lotta detail is at available through
http://librivox.org/wiki/moin.cgi/
especially
http://librivox.org/wiki/moin.cgi/NewbieGuideToRecording
and a lotta folks are hanging around with answers to questions you're about to wonder.

Welcome welcome welcome!
Thanks so much for pitching in!

Gosh... the Yukon...

It sounds so nice and cool... (says the spoiled Californian, sitting around in 90+ degree heat)

Welcome!
