Salutations to all of you at LibriVox. I found your site a few days ago from a link at Wikipedia and worked up the nerve to register today. I love the concept of this group and I hope I can be of some use myself.

I look forward to our future collaboration.

Hi there greyweather!

Glad to see you worked up the nerve to join. It took me longer to do so than you, a whole 3 months, but once I got going I realized how much fun it is to volunteer here.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. :)

Just listened to your first recording and all I can say is it sound great! Great reading voice and great characterization. :)

people attempt to adapt the world to themselves. All progress,
therefore, depends on unreasonable people." George Bernard Shaw

Thanks Starlite. I was actually considering rerecording it since I kind of thought my voice sounded funny, but maybe I'm just not used to my own voice.

everyone thinks their voice is funny when they first hear a recording, don;t worry about it, it sounds wonderful.

I love new people. Help me record my cookbook about chocolate!
