I found LibriVox about a month ago, and have really been enjoying it. I have always been interested in "the classics," and have long known about Project Gutenburg, but I don't like reading from a computer screen for very long. Audio books are great though, because I am on the road at least an hour most days, and can listen while I drive.
I have a fondness for poetry, and really enjoy reading it aloud. Just today I posted my first recording, the special LibriVox anniversary poem, which I hope turned out well. I plan to do more poetry readings, and maybe I will work my way up to short stories or book chapters.

I'll say again, your reading of the anniversary poem was gorgeous.

I'd mentioned, too, your volume being just a tiny bit low.
Maybe your input volume could be raised a notch.
Wanted to tell you my favorite method of boosting volume is to duplicate the track (do it after any editing, as a last step). It boosts the sound and makes a slightly richer/rounder audio (digital is like that).
