Hi! I've been listening to LibriVox for some time now, but I've just now decided to join. My favorite recordings that I've listened to so far are "A CT Yankee in King Arthur's Court", "A Journey to the Interior of the Earth" and "Pride & Prejudice". My interests include history, science, and novels with lots of adventure.

My username is both my given name (Seth) in a Southern accent and an archaic form of "say" - quite appropriate for a spoken literature project!

I love your username :) I hope you'll let that southern dialect shine through if you record something for us! Give a holler if you have any questions :)

I love being able to horrify my UK coworkers by dropping into my Tennessee accent. I only have to relax a little and think of the family Thanksgiving dinners at my grandmother's, and the drawl just comes naturally.

Welcome! Hope to hear your voice soon.

Have you found our wiki yet? It's got some useful stuff in it:

especially in the Newbie Guide to Recording, if you've not done this sort of thing before. :)

Welcome!

If you're interested, there are some very short fables available for Aesop's Fables Volume 10: http://librivox.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1853

They're great for new volunteers to start out with.

Best,
Nikolle
