Hi, my name is Elena and I'm an aspiring actor based in Singapore. I love audio books so thought I'd voluteer for LibriVox. Really excited to get started! Let's go!

You'll find a lot of useful information over in the wiki: http://librivox.org/wiki/moin.cgi - if you've never done recording before, you'll particularly want to check out the Newbie Guide To Recording. There's a link to it in bold about halfway down the index. We suggest that you start with something short - a poem published pre-1923 in the U.S., or an Aesop's Fable (you can find an ongoing collection of these over in Readers Wanted: Short Works), so you can get used to the recording setup and software.
