Hello from Fairbanks Alaska!

Hello all,
I'm SUPER excited to start recording books. I heard about LibriVox from "Cast On" a podcast about knitting. I'm only on episode 6 of like 29, but I QUICKLY jumped on the web. I was looking for audio books to listen to while I knit, but I can't afford to pay nine zillion dollars to download them. This is BY FAR the next best thing.

One of the 100 things to do before I die (thanks Oprah!) is to either do the voice of a cartoon character in a major movie, or record an audio book that more than just me, would listen to. YES. Lets get going!

*huggles* ... I lived in Fairbanks for a winter, years ago... I worked at the public library (one of the best libraries I've ever known, btw) and Gulliver's bookstore ... I miss the Chowder House and that great dessert place (Wolf Run was it?)

Welcome to LibriVox! I hope you have fun, there's plenty to do around here and our catalog is growing pretty quickly.
