Hello there. I have just found this website and I found it very interesting. Nevertheless, I am brazilian and I miss some Portuguese recordings. I would like to know if there is any possibility I could help in a Portuguese project. Although i am willing to help, I am completely newbie about how these projects work, how they are developed, how do you choose your coordinators, etc. Anyway, if you find it interesting to think about a Portuguese project, let me know. If you don?t, I might offer my help with the English projects.
I wait some answer, thank you.

We welcome projects in any language, so long as they are in the public domain! We don't have any Portuguese yet, to my knowledge, but here are some of the other non-English works that have been catalogued:

Hi and welcome.
Light_Strider and jbieber. Watch out. Nasty attack! :
Would you perhaps like to help us in the translation of Librivox? We already have a complete german and spanish translation done.
I heard, Spanish and Portugese is a bit similar. Would it warrant the effort to offer both Portugese and Spanish? If so, would you like to translate it into Portugese? Or would you be able and perhaps like to check on the spelling of the spanish version we have already?
It's all here:

Hey folks, I also spent two years in Brasil. I try hard to keep the portuguese up, perhaps if Strider or jieber read something I could help in the proofing. Strider probably has access to more public domain books, but I'll keep my eyes out and let you know if I can find something fun to suggest.
Ate mais!
Sorry somehow I moved this thread into the wrong place, I'm sure one of the admins can fix it. I'll go to sleep now before I cause more trouble!

Hi Cameron,
We haven't heard from LightStrider lately but Luduvico has been active and has translated the website into Brazilian Portuguese (with some modest proofreading help by me). There is also a Portuguese woman, I think her name is Ana who had done the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in Portuguese.
For public domain works in Portuguese, here are two good sites.
