Hello!

I'm Australian, living in the UK and I just discovered Librivox (by accident) and think this is a fantastic place... I'd be happy to dip in and help in doing some readings or whatever.

Anyways, just thought I'd introduce myself and say hi...

Welcome to LibriVox Maria :) There's plenty of stuff to do around here. Look around, read about how things work, and dive right in :)

Our wiki is a very good place to figure out how things work around here: http://librivox.org/wiki/moin.cgi/LibriVoxWiki

Welcome! Making recordings and doing proof-listening (over in Listeners and Editors Wanted) are two great ways to participate. :)

Hey, is that Uther Pendragon? If so, you'll have seen the thread on your son, King Arthur. Small world, eh?

Thanks everyone! You all seem like a friendly bunch and I'll get right in to volunteering for some reading. I have just downloaded the Audacity software and tried it with my new microphone headset and it works a treat!

I think the whole idea is fantastic and can think of a ton of classic books that I could suggest as well....
