Hello everybody!
My name is Julia. I've been told through the years that I should work as a voice-over artist. It's happened too many times for me to not give it a whirl. And what better way to start than to read books! A friend referred me to LibriVox so I'm excited to get started. I've worked as a Senior Multimedia Producer, Final Cut editor, songwriter, musician, and technical trainer among other roles.
I'm also starting to create a portfolio of music cues to get into composing music for videos, animations, and other projects. I've been dabbling in experimental soundscape textures and have a SoundCloud account as a portfolio:

Reading audiobooks feels like a natural next step for me to delve into voiceovers. Glad to be here and I'm excited to get feedback and learn.
Hello on this Friday evening!

Hi Julia! Welcome here! May I suggest you go here first viewforum.php?f=18 then post your one minute test and get approval (here's the link for that http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/1-Minute_Test) and THEN sign up for a chapter in one of the books you will find in the Readers Wanted thread. I hope you will consider doing a chapter in one of the three books listed below which you can access by clicking on the link below!jmpread wrote: ↑September 30th, 2022, 9:22 pm Hello everybody!
