Hello Librivox world!!
I just passed my 1 minute test yesterday and am thinking of reading a short story to get my feet wet. I’m a story teller at heart and as such, I was curious how much expression I can use. Should I do more of a straight up read, a ‘voice acted’ version or something in between?
Some ‘Getting Started’ advice, please!

Your choice!
Especially on a short story which may be more of a stand-alone piece, you can ham it up as much as you desire. If you were recording a chapter in a book, say, where one chapter follows the other, then you may want to tone it down a bit to fit in with what others are doing.
Edit to add: I think children's books are voice acted regardless of chapter-or-shortstory format.
