I've read aloud to family and friends for decades.
I'm about to retire and have decided reading for LibriVox will be a good, productive use of my new free time.
I have an unusual, mature voice that is instantly recognizable and very pleasant to listeners. I am able to read long, complex sentences so they make sense to the listener.
My voice is clear and without accent (I'm originally from the Midwest) though I can do a southern accent well.
My first challenge is figuring out how to use Audacity!
If any of you have a simple trick to help me I'd appreciate it.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you all.
