Hi. My name is Jim. Just finished approval of the 1-min test. Looking forward to getting some work in after finalizing a few of the details in my profile.
Short background: Retired from my own business of 35 yrs. Got bored and started doing some Uber, where I received a few comments on my voice and that it was good for voiceover, so I figured, why not? I realized it was not something you can just jump into blind, so I figured I should get used to hearing my voice that I, like many others, do not have a high opinion of. My wife is a history professor and uses LibriVox all of the time, so she suggested doing this for a while to get comfortable using my voice.
After getting set up and ready to read, I am very excited to dive in. Thank you for having this resource available.
