Hi, my name is Brooke. I home educate my 5 children, and we have been enjoying Librivox as a supplement for some of our readings. We use the AmblesideOnline curriculum and public domain books are widely used. I enjoy reading aloud to my kids, so I thought I would volunteer for Librivox when I'm not changing diapers, doing dishes and laundry for a household of 7, going on nature walks, or facilitating piano lessons. :) Excited to be a part of the efforts here!

Welcome aboard Brooke! You will find that this is a slow moving train that enjoys the scenery and doing things at our own pace. Which is usually a lot of fun.
So walk into each car of our forum and see what we do. Things may be a bit confusing at first. But for someone who homeschools so many, this will be a breeze! I've made a little video to welcome people and share a few things that I think are nice to know about us at the start of your adventure. Note, these are just my feelings. In any case ask lots of questions, we are a helpful bunch here and want VERY much for you to succeed. https://youtu.be/mwtn_2d3_qs

Thanks so much for the encouragement and welcome! I'm guessing the Wow is for the 5 kids  I'm wowed everyday. It's an adventure for sure. Slow, scenic route...sounds like my kind of pace. We are very "scholé"-oriented here. (https://www.simplyconvivial.com/2014/what-is-schole/) 8-) Though, I am also very driven when it comes to projects I believe in, and look forward to beginning recording! Just submitted the 1 minute test.
