Thanks, Anne!

Welcome, Jenny! Looks like Lucy has given you lots of instructions in the Initials Only thread, so I don't need to say much else. Just follow the instructions in the top post, and post here or PM me if you have any problems. Have fun!

Thanks Smijen,

I think I should be alright with all three chapters. My first thought upon joining this site was how much fun it would be to help record this exact book, and so I was very happy to find available chapters.

I've already posted a test on both the welcome & the listeners needed threads, & I've adjusted my mike to deal with my pesky plosives. Any further tips would be welcome.

Thanks again, and I'll get cracking!

BTW, you can put me in the catalogue by my name; Holly Quinn.

Here's section 068. Not as good as I would like, unfortunately!

sorry for the late reply, everyone
holly - thanks for the info. I've added your to the catalog. Your page is here: http://librivox.org/newcatalog/people_public.php?peopleid=3466
vicky - I can't find your section on the server. :? The uploader really doesn't like spaces in filenames... that's why the top post says to use bookofhouseholdmanagement_68_beeton.mp3 as your filename. Still... I can usually fish it out and fix it. Could you possibly rename the file and try re-uploading? thanks
anne - thanks for your section. Rabbits are poultry? I guess that'll be an interesting section to PL!

Hello again!

This is right up my alley. I collect old cookbooks and have read Mrs. Beeton already. I will claim Section 20.

Please let me know if there's anything else I need to know. I'll get started on this tomorrow.

If at all possible I'd love to grab sections 72, 73, 74, and 75? Thanks!

Hi wyndelyn - welcome to LV! The deadline is coming up fast, so I'll hold them all for you for a couple of weeks, but please check in regularly and let me know how you're doing. These are LONG sections. Have you got your Red Fairy Book file sorted out? Is jo helping you? Let me know if there's anything I can do to help in Laura's (Bear Creek Mama's) absence.
