All That Glitters Is Not Gold, by John Maddison Morton (1811 - 1891)

This project is complete and all audio files can be found in the catalogue: https://librivox.org/all-that-glitters-is-not-gold-by-john-maddison-morton/
Fresh from the success of his phenomenally popular farce, “Box and Cox,” playwright John Madison Morton and his brother, Thomas, adapted a French script into this light-hearted romantic Victorian-era melodrama. Wealthy cotton factory owner Jasper Plum has two sons, Stephen and Frederick. One has fallen in love with honest factory worker, Martha Gibbs. The other has lost his heart to beautiful Lady Valeria. Dashing Sir Arthur Lassell also has an admiring eye on both of these young ladies. Father Jasper wants his sons to make the best match possible and not be taken in by a gold-digger who is just after the millions they will inherit. Plum distrusts the motivations of penniless Martha and is dazzled by the attentions of the nobility. However, appearances can be deceiving, or as the title states, “All that glitters is not gold!” (Summary by Kelly Taylor)

Did the Magic Window do a disappearing act? How are people claiming roles, when I can't see the window? Is it my cataracts again!!!

Carol/Nammy
Some people think holding on is tough; sometimes it's letting go.

We don't have an MC yet, so the Magic Window is still blank. People can read the script, see what roles are available and go ahead and claim them, though.
