Thank you! I haven't watched the film, but now I will try to! I like to compare the book with the movie.
Check if you'd like to edit the following:
around 23:14 you could add "4" for section IV
around 33:30 the phrase "Close the door and lock it" is repeated.

Ok, I just re-upped it. Should be fixed now.Rapunzelina wrote: ↑June 3rd, 2022, 8:58 am Thank you! I haven't watched the film, but now I will try to! I like to compare the book with the movie.

Good evenng:
The Death of the Little Hen
Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm
Read by Dale Grothmanm
Time 5:17
Audio at: https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/ghohor061_deathoflittlehen_grimm_dg_128kb.mp3
Text at: https://www.grimmstories.com/en/grimm_fairy-tales/pdf/the_death_of_the_little_hen.pdf
OR https://americanliterature.com/author/the-brothers-grimm/short-story/the-death-of-the-little-hen
I don't know where to put this, but I think that any story that ends "... And then everyone was dead." probably belongs here.
Thanks
Dale

Thank you, Dale!
The recording does not agree with the text. Did you read from a different source? Translations have their own copyright, so it's important to make sure it is a public domain translation.

Hi:
Sorry about this. I just found the copyright notice on the translation
Source: Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm, Vom Tode des Hühnchens, Kinder- und Hausmärchen, no. 80. Translated by D. L. Ashliman. © 2006.
So I will have to withdraw this, and look for a translation that is older, or PD.
Perhaps The Grimms' source: Clemens Brentano. This tale was included (in a slightly different version) in the Grimms' first edition of their Kinder- und Hausmärchen (1812).
I will look.
Again, sorry
Dale

Hello there!
Here is a recording of The Ghost Ship, written by Richard Middleton, which I found at www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/26950
Here's the link - https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/ghohor061_ghostship_middleton_mm_128kb.mp3
Track length is 24:39:13
It definitely is a ghost story, just not a very scary one !
As it's funny rather than frightening, I'm not sure it'll be a good match for this collection, but here it is anyway, and fingers crossed it can be included.
All the best,
Maria.

I might be a little nit picky here, but technically Bob Holland didn't write this one, he just edited the 25 Ghost Stories collection it's from. isfdb lists it as Anonymous.Grothmann wrote: ↑June 8th, 2022, 11:01 pm Good Evening:

Hi Lee and everyone! I hadn't replied since your post, so I haven't overlooked anyone yet (or have overlooked everyone) will catch up later!
